FIRS participates in the WCTOH 2015

During the World Conference on Tobacco or Health 2015 in Abu Dhabi, held from 17 – 21 March 2015, Prof Dean Schraufnagel discussed in a Meet the Expert Session the issue of e-cigarettes . The position statement of FIRS on e-cigarettes and the Report on "Respiratory Diseases in the World" were distributed to conference participants.

The programme of this conference gathering more than 2000 participants from more than 120 countries included interventions from the WHO Director-General Dr Margaret Chan, Michael Bloomberg, Ministers of Health from South Africa, Ireland, HRH Princess Dina Mired of Jordan and other dignitaries.
